GIS INTEGRO Geophysics includes program and technological support for the analysis and processing of 2D and 3D arrays of geophysical information (wave and potential fields, results of MT sounding processing) including the procedures of filtration, statistical analysis (estimation of distribution and statistics both by arrays in whole and in running windows), solution of direct and inverse problems of gravity and magnetic survey, calculation of various modifications of gradient characteristics, including the normalized ones, as an indispensable tool for the integration of heterogeneous geophysical information.
The block of analytical tools provides
Decomposition of the geophysical fields into components
- profile and areal filtration
- calculation of transformations (analytical recalculations)
Definition of the correlations of the fields
- calculation of correlation characteristics of the different components of the fields
Description of objects (blocks)
- calculation of field characteristics in running windows and formation of attribute space
Zoning of gravity and magnetic fields and their components
- classification problem solution for the attribute space formed
Allocation and study of the fractured zones and Earth crust blocks of various sizes
- calculation of gradient characteristics of the fields and their components
- allocation of small geophysical anomalies against the background of various random field disturbances
Assessment of geometric and physical characteristics of the anomalous objects
- solution of direct and inverse problems of gravity and magnetic survey including trial-and-error/fitting problems
GIS INTEGRO Geophysics provides the integration of geophysical data processed by various software packages. So seismic survey and MT sounding data are processed by problem-specific software tools: software and methodic complex “INTEGRAN” (S.A. Kaplan et al. [VNIIgeosystem]), the system of integrated processing of seismic survey data with CDP seismic reflection method VELINK (V.M. Glogovsky, “Geotechsystem” Ltd), systems of MT sounding data processing: MTS-Prof (“Nord-West” Ltd), WinGeo LINK (GeoSystem, Italy). GIS INTEGRO Geophysics allows information exchange with all the above-named software complexes.

Analysis and decomposition of the fields — allows to divide the fields into the components of various structural levels using the filtration instruments and up and down analytic continuation.
Allocation of anomalies against the background of random disturbances. These procedures allow to detect small anomalies in 2D spatial fields against the background of random disturbances. There are two groups of procedures: the first allows to detect anomalies similar to a given example; the second allows to detect linear anomalies of various kinds due exactly to their linearity, i.e. their features undergo small changes within the anomaly strike.
Calculation of the characteristics. This section comprises the procedures which allow to calculate statistical characteristics in the running window: mean value, median value, dispersion, skewness, kurtosis, coefficients of variation and heterogeneity, gradient characteristics, derivatives, pair correlations, polynomial coefficients for approximation of the field under analysis.
Sounding procedure allows to obtain the distribution of above-named characteristics in the lower half space.
